Thankfully, the beer garden remains open, but indoor seating is shut down for now

San Francisco dive bar Zeitgeist recently announced that it’s shut down its indoor seating again which only fully opened a few weeks back on July 13.

Could this be a sign of things to come for other bars?

Thankfully, Zeitgeist has a big outdoor beer garden that remains opens. However, they announced they’re “taking steps to ensure that we are a safe workplace for our employees and customers, given the increase of Delta infections in SF.

New Guidance for Customers

  • Show proof of vaccination.
  • Order at the bar with your mask on.
  • Sit in the beer garden to drink.

The indoor area is only open to order from the bar or pick up food from the pool room window. There will be no seating inside. Please find an outdoor table. Thank you for helping us stay open in these stressful and unprecedented times.”
