Event Details

Jennifer Pattee, founder of the “pop-up fitness hub” in Hayes Valley “Basic Training”, will share her inspirational journey and the model she used to drive social innovation, and how to be active anywhere, anytime.

Launched this year, the forward-looking design of this community space redefines what’s possible for a parking lot, our health and the future of urban planning. Featured in San Francisco Magazine, 7×7, and The Huffington Post, Jennifer has partnered with the SF Planning Department, the Exploratorium, and Envelope A+D’s PROXY project to pave the way for a bold re-imagining of public health as urban play. With her out of the box thinking combined with design, architecture, and creative place-making, Jennifer is changing the way people bring
wellness and vitality into their lives.

The event is free and is being held at Umpqua Bank in Downtown SF on Thursday, January 29th at 6pm. Complimentary wine and appetizers will be served.
