“The City” Free Concert Night | SF
“The City” is a free live concert series taking place at different locations in San Francisco each month.
They often offer free drinks and music raffles, so check each event for details. An RSVP is always required to get in to this party.
Kingsborough and The Jaded headline the next party at Maggie McGarry’s (1353 Grant Ave).
Free, but an RSVP is required and includes drink tickets and access to a hosted appetizer hour.
You’ll also be entered for a chance to win a Les Paul Epiphone guitar and gig bag. This is the 2014 opening event, so come help celebrate.
Determined to help revive authentic, soulful rock music, Kingsborough has become one of the North Bay’s most entertaining and fastest rising acts. The band’s influences range from The Allman Brothers and Bill Withers to Rage Against the Machine and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, resulting in a beautiful hurricane of widely diverse original material. Armed with heart pounding rhythms, dazzling guitar solos and powerful vocal harmonies, this powerhouse 5 piece is living proof that rock n’ roll is still alive and well.
The Jaded is a vintage rock band formed in 2011 in the San Francisco Bay Area.
