UPDATE: Living History Day at Fort Point — scheduled for August 28, 2021 has been cancelled by the National Park Service due to the rise of the Covid variant. The event has been postponed until 2022.

Why is there a Civil War Fort in San Francisco? Meet Living History re-enactors who will give you a sense of life at a Civil War fort, and learn what California had to do with the Civil War.
