Primera Letra is classic salsa, latin jazz, and original music with funky clave. Vocalist Melina Berkov-Rojas is joined by an all-star cast of Bay Area artists whose musical prowess has reached all corners of the country and beyond. Spanning a multitude of genres from Jazz to Afro-Cuban, Classical, Soul, R&B, Rock, Funk and Flamenco – the group comes together with rich, original sound. Joyce McBride on keys, Omega Rae on vocals, John Villalobos on Guitar & Cuban Tres, Javier Navarrette on percussion, Greg Kehret on Bass and surprise special guests.
