IAMSOUND Records returns with another round of free shows in the swanky Velvet Room and Redwood Room of San Francisco’s Clift Hotel.
Friday, February 24th: Unknown Mortal Orchestra
UMO was initially conceived by New Zealand native, Ruban Neilson, to release some tracks via bandcamp. He pieced a band together, with a skilled producer, Jake, on bass and a brilliant teenage drummer named Julien to fill out the band. They bring break-beats together with 60’s/70’s Beatles sounding pop harmonies and a minimal Krautrock rhythm section. They are based in Portland
