Closing Party at Secession Art & Design (SF)

Secession Art & Designs is closing our SF location this Sunday. To honor the 14-and-a-half years I have called Mission Street home, we are hosting a celebration on Friday, March 11, 6-8pm. Silvi Alcivar will be reading her poem we are remembering everything. This weekend truly is about supporting local makers and artists.

The decision to relocate was not an easy one. I had to do what was best for my family. My new home offers me more affordable rent, childcare, and opportunities for business growth. I’ve felt the heaviness of always being responsible for so much overhead. My hope is to reopen, rebuild and think about longevity. I did not want to go out quietly. I want to honor my community and have a personal interaction with my customers to say thank you. You rock!
