Thursday, October 3, 2019 - 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm | Cost: FREE
Presidio Chapel | 130 Fisher Loop, San Francisco, CA

The murals at Coit Tower were completed 85 years ago. They were, at the time, the largest art project funded by the New Deal, and featured the work of artists such as Bernard Zakheim, Clifford Wright, Victor Arnautoff, and Maxine Albro.

Professor Emeritus Robert Cherny will give a virtual tour of the murals, tell us about the controversy at the time they were completed, and describe the decades of neglect and vandalism that followed as well as the most recent restoration of the murals.

Please RSVP to this event.

Please note, this event was submitted to Funcheap by the promoter, but no link was provided.
