Community Climate Action Day San José

Join us for a climate volunteer event and celebration hosted in collaboration with California Volunteers, HandsOn Bay Area, the City of San Jose and Mayor Sam Liccardo, Veggielution, and other San Jose community organizations! As part of California Climate Action Week, hundreds of volunteers will support projects throughout the city focused on urban greening, organic waste and edible food recovery, and wildfire resiliency.

The event kickoff and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at Veggielution with speakers from the Mayor’s office, California Volunteers, and others. Volunteers will be provided a free t-shirt and light refreshments before departing for and traveling to their service projects, which start at 10:00 a.m. Service projects end at 12:30 p.m., after which the celebration continues with a free lunch, music from SolFunk Solar, and fun!
