Adaptive management is an iterative approach to natural resource management, which evaluates a natural system and responds to new data. It enables action and decision-making in real-world scenarios.

While the principles of adaptive management are well known in environmental systems management, there’s a lesser-known kind of adaptation going on behind the scenes that of complex governance networks that must also respond to changing conditions and needs.

Join the, to learn how organizations and institutions can effectively work together to manage complex and ever-changing ecosystems through adaptive governance. Free but an RSVP is required. Email reserve@exploratorium.edu, or call 415.528.4444 and choose option 5.
