Dairy Queen is welcoming the arrival of spring with its annual Free Cone Day on March 19, 2026. Customers can visit participating locations across the U.S. to enjoy a free small vanilla cone, available all day while supplies last.

The event is open to all, with a limit of one cone per person. Non-mall locations will offer the cone for free, while participating mall locations may require a purchase. This long-running tradition is Dairy Queen’s way of celebrating the season and sharing its signature soft-serve with fans of all ages.

There’s not a DQ in San Francisco proper, but there’s plenty a short drive away. But take note that this deal is typically only for non-mall locations.

The free deal is only at “participating” DQs (you’ll probably have to call the store to confirm).

Bay Area locations include: Antioch, Campbell, Concord, San Bruno, San Ramon, Vacaville, plus a few others in the greater Bay Area.
