SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2026
The 2026 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 9, 2026 with Hermán Olivera y Orquesta Taíno to kick off its 26th season. The Festival features over 100 free performances from May to November in Downtown San Francisco.
An enchanting voice/cello duo, Dalia & the Big Violin features Palestinian-American singer Dalia Marina and Parker Ousley, a cellist/vocalist steeped in jazz but deeply engaged with a global assortment of traditions. Together, they make up an unusual but perfectly paired duo that draws on styles from folk to funk, with a splash of comic relief thrown in to keep audiences guessing. Raised in the Bay Area and now based in Boston, Marina made a powerful impression with her 2012 YBGF debut as a special guest with Middle Eastern ensemble Zamanna. She confirmed her status as a rising star with her 2014 program presenting an eclectic set of jazz, Latin jazz and soul-infused classical Arabic songs. She returns to town ready to recalibrate all expectations.
