Event Details

Discover the transformative power of dance by joining this movement class for adults and seniors of all abilities. Using live music, the class begins seated, warming up both body and mind. As the class progresses participants can stand or stay seated as we continue to hone balance, grace, and confidence.

This class is appropriate for people in wheelchairs, those with balance concerns, Parkinson’s, and other movement challenges. Live music presented in partnership with On Lok Lifeways.

Marika Brussel has been teaching elders in the Bay Area for the past 8 years. Her work incorporates her training through the Mark Morris Dance for Parkinson’s Disease program.

Free but an RSVP is required. Send an email to access@thecjm.org, or call 415.655.7856.
