Z Day: Global Day of Action (Day 2) | GG Park

You’re invited to celebrate the annual worldwide Z Day event, which is meant to increase public awareness of The Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project. This is the second of three consecutive events over Z Day weekend, hosted by the San Francisco Chapter.

You may ask yourself: What is the Zeitgeist Movement? Essentially, it’s a group that advocates sustainability to, you know, keep earth and earthlings healthy. Here’s what their site had to say in vague terms: “The Zeitgeist Movement is a social aim that urges change in the intellectual, moral and cultural climate of the time. Specifically, to values and practices that would better serve the well-being of the whole of humanity, regardless of race, religion, title or other forms of contrived social status.”

Z Day 2: Living By Example This event is community driven social gathering and potluck called, “Living By Example” where advocates of The Zeitgeist Movement will gather, socialize, and live by example to show that people can come together for something positive.

We will learn and talk about a Resource-Based Economy, and the direction that the Zeitgeist Movement proposes for our Global Community. Please feel free to contribute by bringing food or drinks, a skill to donate or show off, or just some good conversation. We will have informational materials and DVDs to give out.

Location: Pioneer East Meadows, John F Kennedy Drive & Stow Lake Drive, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The event is free. Please pre-register in advance.
