Event Details

Come for two movies and give a little to buy poor kids some pediatric wheelchairs.

The Children’s Variety Preview Room is showing—in its intimate theater right off the Montgomery BART station—Despicable Me and the Futurama movie.

Free popcorn given away, cash bar for the thirsty ones with proceeds going to charity. During the brief intermission, there’s a raffle ($1 tickets) for some cool schwag.

NOW SHOWING (film stars at 7 pm):

  • DESPICABLE ME (95 mins.) Animated film featuring the voices of Steve Carrell, Jason Segal and Russell Brand.
  • FUTURAMA – THE BEAST WITH A BILLION BACKS (90 mins.) Full-length feature version of the popular sci-fi TV show from the creator of The Simpsons.

Suggested donation at the door $5 per person – it’s all for the kids folks. The holidays may be over, but the need for services and help continues on our community.
