Dance the night away at a Dia de los Muertos afterparty with complimentary churros, tacos, chips and salsa at 10 pm on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Public Works in SF.
The Oddjob Loft will be fitted for the occasion with an altar at the DJ booth and there will be free churros, tacos, chips and salsa while supplies last.
One of the Mission District’s richest cultural traditions crosses paths with its most forward-thinking dance hall for a bone-rattling remezcla – in the forms of moombahton, digital cumbia and tropical bass – that will get even the stiffest skeletons shaking as Public Works hosts the Viva La Vida – Dia de los Muertos procession afterparty.
Line-up:
Turbo Sonidero Futuristico (Contra Discos, OAK) w/ MC Mex Tape
Baan (Bad Shoes Records) VS Fuzzy Fotch (Bad Shoes, Boston)
Matt Haze (Slayers Club, Silent Frisco)
Free before 11 pm,;$5 after
