Catch the skeptalk, My Beloved Brontosaurus: Why We Need Dinosaurs on Wednesday, September 11, 2013.

As science draws new secrets from old bones, dinosaurs are continuing to change. In this talk, Brian Switek will explore our changing understanding of our favorite prehistoric celebrities and the secrets dinosaurs have to share about evolution and survival.

Brian Switek is an online columnist for National Geographic and is the author of the books My Beloved Brontosaurus and Written in Stone. He has written for Smithsonian, Wired, Slate, The Wall Street Journal, Nature, Scientific American, and other publications. He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he is also a paleontology volunteer with the Natural History Museum of Utah.
