Event Details

Local artist and author Keith Hansen explores the beauty, wonder and passion that surrounds birds and birding in the Bay Area and beyond.

Come along on this odyssey, as we bounce between Point Reyes, Arctic Alaska, the Galapagos and the Amazon. Learn the importance of travel and first-hand experience as Hansen shares from books he has illustrated, discusses multi-year mural projects and gets tangled up in revolution while birding in Chiapas, Mexico.

Keith Hansen is the author of Hansen’s Field Guide to the Birds of the Sierra Nevada and Birds of Point Reyes, both published by Heyday Books in Berkeley.
