Event Details

Got identity issues? Doing some soul-searching? You may enjoy the tale of Thackary Grossman, told in this well-made documentary.

A San Francisco husband-and-wife filmmaking team screen their first documentary, Thackary’s Time, about a Northern Californian who finds out at the age of 39 that the father who raised him is not his biological father.

When his mother tells Thackary he is the love child of an affair, family secrets come tumbling out of the closet and Thackary is forced to deal with issues of self identity, the meaning of family and the slippery slope of love, trust and commitment.
