Event Details

The San Francisco Bay Area launch of The Economics of Happiness, a 1 hour documentary about the worldwide movement for economic localization, will take place in Berkeley at the David Brower Center, on Thursday, January 13, 2011. The film will be followed by a panel discussion with co-director Helena Norberg-Hodge, author Richard Heinberg, Jenny Kassan of the Sustainable Economies Law Center, Rosa González of Bay Localize, and Eric Holt-Gimenez of Food First.

This event is free and open to the public (donations greatly appreciated).

The San Francisco Bay Area launch of The Economics of Happiness will highlight local examples of a global movement of community-based initiatives dedicated to addressing the multiple crises we face.  Partner organizations from the Bay Area will be profiled at the event.
