Donation based Yoga and Hike

Middleground Yoga and Plantify are coming together to connect yoga with nature at the Heirloom East Bay Farm. Meet us at the picnic tables in front of the big white house at 9:30 for some gentle yoga (no mats needed so you can leave them at home) before continuing on with a moderate hike uphill to a vista point at around 9:50. Expect to see some animal friends along the way! The uphill part is moderately challenging, with some breaks in steepness. We’ll convene for a bit at the top and then make our way back down for some tea and snacks! It should take around 1.5 hrs for the whole thing.

The class will incorporate yoga philosophy as well as discussion, movement, mindfulness meditation and some breath work. The hike will include some slightly rugged terrain on a dirt path with some breaks of shade. The length of the hike will be give or take around 40 minutes. Please make sure to register in advance so we can ensure parking for the amount of people enrolled and also keep you in the loop with any updates!

All proceeds will go to Nisarga, an organization that provides legal representation to rural people and single women living in poverty in Andhra Pradesh, India, so that they may receive and develop cultivable land.

This event is supported by Plantify, a PG&E Resilient Together advisory group member. At the end of the event, you’ll be invited to share your thoughts in a short survey, helping to shape climate-resilient infrastructure and build a stronger community future.
