The U.S. Bartender’s Guild and DonQ Puerto Rican Rum are hosting a live cocktail competition on Tuesday night at The Burritt Room inside the Crescent Hotel.
The private industry night will feature eight bartenders from some of the city’s best bars battling it out live creating either a spirited cocktail using a custom house made “signature” ingredient or a fruit forward long drink. The stakes are high, as two winners tonight will head to New York to compete in the Manhattan Cocktail Classic on May 13-16.

We’ll pick 15 Funcheapers to get on the guestlist (winners can bring one guest) to come cheer on your favorite bartender and enjoy tasty Puerto Rican food provided by SOL, sample the competitors’ DonQ Rum cocktails plus groove to live salsa/island music from “Hot Pocket.”
