Early bird “Magic Pass” tickets go on sale for the 2019 How Weird Street Fair on February 5, 2019.

On May 5, 2019, a unique gathering of the tribes will occur in downtown San Francisco for a Celebration of Peace. It will  trip back to the Eighties.

There will be dancing in the streets at 10 stages of world-class electronic music, spectacular performances, fantastic foods, unique vendors, visionary art, and inspiring creativity.

The heart of the emerging new downtown of San Francisco, at the intersection of Howard & 2nd Streets, will be the center of festivities, surrounded by thousands of people in colorful costumes.

This year’s theme is “Time Warp: A Love Story”, a romantic look at time and the world around us, with a trip back to the Eighties. The 1880s and the 1980s, together at last in a dance-off for the ages.

This faire is dedicated to all the generations of people that have danced together, and taken their dance to the weird level.

How Weird is a menagerie of attractions, including a world renowned music festival featuring 10 stages of different styles of dance music, an open air art festival filling an expanded Art Alley, a unique market of interesting vendors and delicious food, and a platform for performers of every type.

The Magic Passes

The four entrances to the faire are located at:

• Howard and 1st Streets
• Howard and New Montgomery Streets
• Folsom and 2nd Streets
• Mission and 2nd Street

The How Weird Street Faire is centered at Howard and 2nd Streets, or 37°47’12.4″ N, 122°23’53.7″ W. The faire is located in the SoMa district of San Francisco, what has become the center of the technology industry for the city, and perhaps the world.
