Dolores Park Clean-Up Volunteer Day (Free Ice Cream)

Be a local hero. Clean up litter. Earn local rewards. Dolores Park needs your help, but thankfully a new app called Rubbish has an idea to combat trash, support local businesses, and reward you all in one.  

That’s right, just by helping volunteer to clean up the park for about 15 minutes, you’ll get a $5 gift card at a well-loved local business like Tartine Bakery, Humphry Slocombe or Dyanmo Donut as a thank you for being a hero and a great neighbor.

Want to Volunteer Together?
RSVP first and then show up at 18th and Dolores on Saturday, October 10 from Noon to 5pm to meet the Rubbish crew and to connect with other like-minded volunteers – plus they’ll give you a litter picker and give away cool swag.

To Volunteer & Participate:

1. Download the Rubbish iOS app at rubbish.love (if you’re an Android user, RSVP on Facebook and show up to the park to get swag and a litter picker-upper)
2. Pick up 100 pieces of trash in Dolores Park in the Mission using the app. (~15 minutes)
3. Screenshot your Rubbish Run map when done
4. Share your Rubbish map summary on Instagram and tag @rubbish.love.

Then, Rubbish will send you a gift card to a local shop like Tartine Bakery, Humphry Slocombe or Dyanmo Donut.
