Event Details

Join the Town of Danville in the Village Theatre Art Gallery Friday, April 20 to celebrate Earth Day 2012. The event, Earth Day Arts, begins at 11:00 a.m. and goes until 5:00 p.m.

This is the second year the town has hosted this event in conjunction with the art gallery to showcase green-minded artists and educate the community about the sustainable practices that are used in their work.

This will be the final day to view Linda Colnett’s Trees from Trash sculptures from the last exhibition Branching Out. This will also be the only day to view the artwork of local Danville and Alamo K-12 students who created a poster for the Earth Day Poster Art contest with the environmental theme of “Our World, Our Community.” A reception honoring the finalists will be held at 4:00 p.m.
