Discuss your hopes and concerns, learn about ecosexuality and imagine abundant futures in the face of global climate crisis. Share what’s ailing you and receive a (collectible) prescription for ecosensual activities that will help you to feel better.
Clinicians will be giving away ecosexy bookmarks, stickers and posters. Sprinkle and Stephens will have their new book for sale, Assuming the Ecosexual Position–The Earth as Lover (University of Minnesota Press), and will sign and decorate your copy into art. Beth Stephens and Annie Sprinkle have been creating multimedia projects together for 20 years, about love, environmental issues and the sensual pleasures of the natural world. Stephens has been a professor at University of California Santa Cruz for 27 years. Sprinkle was a sex worker turned performance artist. The duo make films, produce symposiums, create theater and performance art. Their Ecosex Manifesto launched the Ecosex Movement. They are currently making a film about fire for which they were awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2021. Their book, Assuming the Ecosexual Position—the Earth as Lover (University of Minnesota Press) chronicles their epic love story and art/life adventures.
