Come celebrate Earth Day April 23 at Pleasant Hill City Hall

We are looking forward to getting green on April 23 to celebrate Earth Day. Come to City Hall, 100 Gregory Lane from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. for an evening of environmental awareness and activities. Over a dozen groups will be in attendance with a variety of demonstrations, activities and information all based around Earth Day.  Vendors/activities include:

• A live animal demonstration from Lindsey Wildlife.
• Storytime with Patrick from the Pleasant Hill Library (5:30 – 6:00 p.m.)
• A demo hive and information on bees from the Mt Diablo Beekeepers Association
• Creek and Watershed Education with Friends of Pleasant Hill Creeks
• Sustainable Contra Costa
• Rodgers Ranch Urban Farm
• Engaging activities and fun giveaways with the Contra Costa Water District

This fun, family event will also take place during the weekly Off the Grid Food Truck event, so bring your appetites and stay for a great dinner afterwards!
