Marius Lauber, working under the moniker Roosevelt, a German singer, songwriter, and producer whose listless disco could be from Manchester, LA, Ontario, even outer space. In 2012, he introduced his techno-meets-indie pop project Roosevelt with the single “Sea,” a pulsating, hypnotizing slither of sun-kissed disco with its own self-made video that reached the ears of hugely respected electronic pop label Greco-Roman.

A year later, his “Elliot” single landed on Future Classic, then it was back to Greco-Roman for the 2015 single “Hold On.” Roosevelt’s self-titled album arrived in 2016 as a co-release from Greco-Roman and City Slang. The following year saw the release of the EP Remixed 2.
