Essence & Gold Country draw from deep roots in Appalachian, Americana, and classic Country traditions, with songwriting influenced by legends like John Prine, Dolly Parton, and Lucinda Williams. Essence’s voice has been compared to Emmylou Harris and Dolly herself. Her songs have appeared in film and TV, and she has shared stages with Sheryl Crow, The Old Crow Medicine Show, and Tom Petty.

Gregorio & Friends is a side project of the band leader from SF psychedelic latin blues rock outfit BOLERO! His solo work is a reflection of his softer songwriting and a return to form to his 1960s/70s folk inspired roots with a cosmic twist.
Welding an acoustic electric guitar and harmonica around his neck, he is joined by Joseph Canñas on electric guitar and Jon Turner on upright bass performing original songs that have rarely been heard and yet to be recorded. These performances are a time specific exploration of earthly music without ever sounding the same twice.
