Fleet Week “Discover Polk” Block Party & Parklet Festival
The City of San Francisco has chosen Discover Polk to be one of their main partners for their official Fleet Week celebration.
Enjoy military bands in the heart of our district, classic car collections will be on display, a family party at Helen Wills Park will take place in the morning (details to come!), live music, and local merchant sales will be happening all day!

Family Fun Festival – 10am to 1pm
Helen Wilis Park (Broadway & Larkin)

- Balloon animals w/ “Balloon Ninja”
- Face painting by Happy Cake
- Bouncy House Obstacle Course
- All activities outside and in open air
Discover Fleet Week Festival – 1-9p
Polk & Van Ness between California and Broadway – Approx. 10 square blocks
FREE
- 12-7p – Classic Car Show – from the Academy of Art University’s museum and other private collectors – ENTIRE BLOCK of Polk btw Jackson & Washington (both sides of the road)
- 12-7p – Discover Polk Merchant Sidewalk Sale – participating merchants, great deals!
- 1p – Official Fleet Week Military Band playing high energy music – corner of Jackson & Polk
- 3-4:30p – Fleet Week Airshow (Head to Marina Green)
- 6-9p – Parklet Music Festival – Curated live music in five parklets on Polk Street (locations TBD), plus roving juggler and belly dancer
