Free Tix to Cal Academy of Sciences if You Get Vaccinated This Weekend (Sept. 24-26)

Thanks to Mission Local for letting us know about this promotion by the California Academy of Sciences which is offering free tickets to people who get vaccinated. You can choose either daytime admission or Nightlife (21+) admission. Tickets are while supplies last, of course. Learn More: PDF Flyer | Link

Get Vaccinated This Weekend & Get A Free Cal Academy of Sciences ticket 
How to get your free ticket – Valid through September 26 while supplies list

  1. Show up at one of the vaccine pop-up sites and receive either your first or 2nd shot
  2. You’ll receive a complimentary ticket to the Academy of Sciences (tickets are while supplies last)
  3. UPDATE: When can you use your free tickets? Your tickets can be used at the California Academy of Sciences once you are two weeks passed your final shot, or if you provide proof of a recent negative test. The comp tickets can be redeemed anytime through 6/30/22. To enter the museum with their complimentary tickets, they must follow the entry policy which states you must be either 14 days past your final vaccination shot, or provide proof of a negative COVID test within the past 72 hours.

Please note that you need to show up at that a neighborhood vaccine pop-up first (don’t show up directly at the Academy of Sciences)

UPDATE: We’ve been told by the California Academy of Sciences that entry to the museum must be “immediately ” after getting their shot at one of the pop-up sites. These complimentary tickets are available while supplies last

It appears that this is only valid for people receiving the first/second vaccine doses at participating locations and is not valid at other locations or for people who were previously vaccinated.
