This is from a new musical by Bay Area playwright and composer, Catherine McSharry. Lefty and Liela Get It Right was showcased in January 2016 by Musical Cafe.

A short audience feedback session will follow the performances.

The Story:

Liela, our suicidal bride, dangles mid-air off the Golden Gate Bridge, with show-girl flair.

Lefty, humiliated to learn that his wife is right-handed, doesn’t care.

With the help of an angel, a seductive French assistant, and a Slavic man with a dream, we learn the story of Lefty and Liela’s twisted San Francisco romance.

A story of lips, lies, love, and lasting impressions.
