“LINES” Free Ballet Dance Workshop | Grace Cathedral

Every fourth Thursday of the month through August 22nd.

A free series of dance workshops hosted by Grace Cathedral and the 2019 Artist in Residence Alonzo King, every 2nd & 4th Thursday from June 13 – August 22, 2019 at 1 pm.

Alonzo King LINES Ballet welcomes the PD community with an authentic and accessible approach to movement. Join experienced Teaching Artists for a fun movement and dance experience. These classes provide an encouraging environment for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and their loved ones to explore creativity.

Artistic Director and internationally-celebrated choreographer Alonzo King is the Cathedral’s 2019 Artist in Residence for 2019, and these classes are offered during his residency, and in harmony with the cathedral’s annual theme “The Year of the Body.”

Classes are tailored for varying abilities and begin in seated chairs. Build community through dance with gentle combinations and live accompaniment.
