54th Annual Mountain View Art & Wine Festival (Sept. 12-13)
The Mountain View Art & Wine Festival returns to Downtown Mountain View for its 54th year, bringing two days of art, live music, food, drinks, family fun, and more to Castro Street on September 12-13, 2026.
With 400 artists and vendors, two stages of live entertainment, gourmet food and drinks, a Kid Zone, interactive art experiences, and a new Wine Tasting Experience, the free festival transforms downtown Mountain View into a giant outdoor celebration for the weekend.

What to Expect at the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival
Castro Street will be filled with hundreds of booths showcasing original, handcrafted art, along with food vendors, wineries, craft beverages, live music, and activities for all ages.
Highlights for 2026 include:
- 400 artists and vendors showcasing original, handcrafted work
- NEW Wine Tasting Experience featuring more than 22 tastings
- Two stages of live music and entertainment
- The Xfinity Sports Lounge with live sports on a giant LED screen
- A family-friendly Kid Zone with games, activities, face painting, bungee trampolines, water balls, and more
- The interactive Collaborative Paint Temple
- A DJ Dancepark with live DJs and house music
- Gourmet street food, wine, craft beer, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks
NEW Wine Tasting Experience
New for 2026, the festival is introducing an exclusive Wine Tasting Experience featuring more than 22 pours from boutique and heritage wineries.
Guests can sample wines from participating wineries including Concannon Vineyard, Darcie Kent Estate Winery, Frey Vineyards, J. Lohr, Shale Oak Winery, Sterling Vineyards, and more, while meeting vintners and learning more about their wines.
Early bird tickets are available in advance, with tickets available at the festival for $65, subject to availability.
Art & Shopping
One of the festival’s biggest draws is its sprawling collection of artists and makers.
Stroll Castro Street and browse booths featuring original art and handcrafted goods, including fine art, jewelry, ceramics, glass, metalwork, fiber art, leather goods, woodwork, and more.
With 400 artists and vendors participating, it’s also a great place to discover something you won’t find at your average shopping center.
Food, Wine, Craft Beer & More
Come hungry.
The festival will feature more than 19 street food vendors serving everything from BBQ and street tacos to bao buns, Indonesian satay, gourmet crêpes, and wood-fired pizza.
There will also be plenty to drink, including wine, sangria, craft beer, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
For something a little different, Tropical Hut will be serving non-alcoholic piña coladas in fresh pineapples and coconuts.
Live Music & Entertainment
Two stages will host live music and entertainment throughout the weekend.
The PG&E Main Stage will feature a mix of pop, funk, rock, dance, and more, including festival favorites The Megatones and The Houserockers.
The Alamo Drafthouse Community Stage will spotlight emerging local performers, including singers, dancers, actors, and musicians.
Collaborative Paint Temple + DJ Dancepark
The festival’s interactive art experience returns with the Collaborative Paint Temple, where visitors can contribute to a giant shared art project throughout the weekend.
This year’s theme, “My Superpower Is…”, invites festivalgoers to reflect on their personal strengths and add their own creative contribution to the installation.
Meanwhile, the nearby DJ Dancepark will keep the music going with live DJs spinning melodic and house music.
By Sunday evening, the community-created artwork will be transformed into a colorful collective piece created by hundreds of festivalgoers.
Xfinity Sports Lounge
Need a break from browsing?
The Xfinity Sports Lounge offers a place to sit down, grab food and drinks, and catch live sports on a massive LED screen.
Kid Zone
Families can head to the Kid Zone for games, activities, face painting, bungee trampolines, giant inflatable water balls, and vendors geared toward younger festivalgoers.
Getting There
The festival takes place along Castro Street in Downtown Mountain View.
Taking public transportation is strongly recommended. Caltrain, VTA Light Rail, and bus service all provide access to the Mountain View Transit Center, which is just steps from the festival.
Free bicycle parking will also be available near Church Street.
Parking in and around downtown Mountain View may be limited during the festival, so public transportation or biking is encouraged.
