SF Parks & Rec will host free fall gardening classes at the city’s largest community garden, the Golden Gate Park CommUNITY Garden.

- September 13, 2014 –Pollinators in San Francisco: Learn about pollinators in SF’s green spaces and how you can help these critical species via citizen science, plant selection, and gardening.
- October 4, 2014 – Integrated Pest Management for Your Garden: Learn more about how to control weeds, pests, disease and other gardening troubles in a sustainable manner.
- November 1, 2014 – Composting & Vermicomposting: This workshop will cover the basics of composting and its practical benefits, including waste reduction, soil enrichment, fertilizing, and water conservation.
