SF’s Union Street Festival 2026 (June 6-7)
Kick off the summer with the 48th anniversary of The Union Street Festival!
The two-day long Union Street Festival brings neighbors, locals, and visitors alike to the Marina District. Come celebrate local business, culture and community at one of the longest running street festivals in San Francisco presented by Sunset Mercantile in partnership with the Union Street Association.
For a full weekend, the charming and walkable Cow Hollow neighborhood gets transformed into an open-air market with live music, dance, food, art, cocktails and mocktails, plus family-friendly games and activities!
Don’t miss out on San Francisco traditions like the iconic Waiter Relay Race, a neighborhood favorite where teams race uphill balancing trays full of drinks for a chance to win exciting prizes.

And of course, the iconic Union Street Waiters Race!
We’re currently inviting a select group of local restaurants, venues, breweries, and business partners to participate in this high-energy, crowd-favorite competition where local restaurant, bar, and hospitality teams run a relay race while balancing trays in celebration of San Francisco’s vibrant service industry and neighborhood community spirit.
Be part of this tradition. Registration closes Monday, June 1st.
The Race will take place on June 7th at 12pm!
