Startup Art Fair Turns a Boutique Hotel into a Pop-Up Gallery Weekend (April 17–19)

For one weekend only, about 150 independent artists will take over the rooms of the colorful boutique 1950s Hotel Del Sol, transforming each space into a mini gallery where visitors can wander room to room, meet artists, and buy work directly.

The event has a casual open studio feel that is less formal than a traditional art fair. It takes place just a few blocks from the Marina waterfront and within walking distance of the larger San Francisco Art Fair at Fort Mason.

Opening Night Highlights (Friday)

• Music by DJ Mishka
• Live runway show at 8 pm featuring The Living Archive, an immersive fashion and textile exhibit focused on upcycled and reclaimed materials
