Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity: Building Blocks & Repairs | East Palo Alto

Habitat Greater San Francisco is excited to announce the next Building Blocks event in East Palo Alto. During this three-day event, volunteers will help make critical repairs for long-time homeowners in East Palo Alto, a neighborhood that has been historically under-served. They particularly need help on July 19.

Volunteers will meet at MLK Park in East Palo Alto where you’ll get acquainted with fellow volunteers and community members, receive your own Habitat t-shirt, and hear the tasks for the day. The scope of work will include rebuilding fences, repairing decks, painting houses, landscaping yards, installing flooring, and making other safety and accessibility improvements for long-time homeowners in East Palo Alto. Don’t worry, no experience is necessary. Lunch will also be provided by the friends at Back a Yard Caribbean American Grill.
