Mark your calendar: Walnut Creek Oktoberfest is back for an unforgettable weekend of German-inspired food and beers, local craft brews, live entertainment, and contests. Plus, don’t miss the enhanced Chillgarten, a relaxed 21+ lounge featuring specialty cocktails and a dedicated bar.

Celebrate Bavarian traditions with more than 15,000 festival goers at one of the East Bay’s favorite fall events.

Event parking is available for $10 at 1111 Civic Drive. Additional street parking and nearby public garages are available. The festival is less than a 10-minute walk from BART, and FREE bike valet is available from the Iron Horse Trail.

What to Expect:

• DRINKS: Craft local brews and German beer, wine, specialty cocktails, drink packages (starting at $12), and commemorative glasses available for purchase.
• CHILLGARTEN (21+): Relax in the enhanced adults-only lounge featuring a dedicated bar, specialty cocktails, and a festive atmosphere.
• MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT: Enjoy traditional German bands, authentic Bavarian folk dancers, and live music throughout the weekend, plus performances from local favorite bands on multiple stages.
• CONTESTS: Join the fun with stein-holding, yodeling, and costume contests on both Friday and Saturday.
• FOOD & VENDORS: Savor authentic German favorites like brats and pretzels alongside local Bay Area cuisine while shopping dozens of artisan vendors.
• KINDER KARNEVAL: Kids can enjoy giant slides, train rides, mini golf, games, and family-friendly entertainment. Wristbands are available for purchase on-site.
