Event Details

Fenton Johnson’s most recent book is Everywhere Home: A Life in Essays, which are new and selected essays from 30+ years of essay publishing. Many of these are set in San Francisco, where he was a staff writer for the New York Times based in SF during part of those years—and there’s a section (“Journals of the Plague Years”) of essays set in the first years of the AIDS epidemic.

Andrew Lam is a senior editor at New American Media and author of three books, including a very fine collection of short stories Birds of Paradise Lost.
