Three New Exhibitions at Sanchez Art Center (Feb 12–Mar 21)

Sanchez Art Center opens its 2021 exhibitions with three exciting new shows. Painter Laura Corallo-Titus and tapestry artist Dance Doyle will show their work in the Main Gallery. The artists are the 2019 Left Coast Annual exhibition award winners selected by Scott A. Shields, Associate Director and Chief Curator of the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. Sanchez Artistic Director Jerry Ross Barrish will curate. The artists will discuss their work on Zoom at 3:30 pm on Sunday, Feb 21. In the East Gallery is an exhibit titled See Change, creating space for fear free conversation and reflection about sea level rise. The exhibit includes photographs, artworks and neologisms (new words) created through a collaborative community project. In West Gallery, the Art Guild of Pacifica presents Perspective. All three shows will open on Friday, Feb 12, at 1 pm (no evening opening reception), with gallery hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 1–5 pm, through Sunday, Mar 21.

Safety protocols for the health and well-being of visitors, volunteers, and staff include face masks, physical distancing, and limited numbers of people in the galleries.
