Exploratorium Community Free Days | 2020
The Exploratorium is a twenty-first-century learning laboratory, an eye-opening, always-changing, playful place to explore and tinker featuring hundreds of science, art, and human perception exhibits.
While they don’t have monthly community days, they do host certain special events throughout the year offering “pay-what-you-can” admission for all.
Please note, in past years, there were 4-6 free community days, but in 2020 there is only one. Enjoy free admission on Mother’s Day (May 10, 2020).
The Exploratorium celebrates Mother’s Day with a special free admission day for all.
Happy Mother’s Day from The Exploratorium. To celebrate, they’re hosting Día de las Madres. All mothers—and especially Mamás latinas—and their families are invited to a day of fun at the Exploratorium. To honor this special day, they will offer bilingual programming for moms. Enjoy fabulous performances of folklórico dances and a mariachi concert serenading mothers, and make paper flowers as gifts.
Please note that admission is Pay-What-You-Wish on Community Days, and museum entry is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry is subject to capacity; admission is not guaranteed.
