Fall Harvest Celebration: Games, Cooking Demos & Nutrition Booths | SF

Please join them as they kick-off their return to the Mission Community Market

The family-friendly fest will have:

• Hourly, culturally-appropriate, cooking demonstrations and tastings- lead by their Promotoras.
• Market tours, get to know the vendors and farmers present at the market.
• SF- Marin Food Bank CalFresh Outreach team will be on site to answer shoppers questions, provide resources and information for CalFresh registrations, dispel any myths about CalFresh eligibility, and provide shopper information on the available SF-Marin Food Bank resources.
• Urban Sprouts staff will host a family-friendly health and nutrition booth with; art activities, fruit and vegetable photo booth, a sugar-sweetened beverage quiz, plant starts and seeds for families to take home, recipe cards, and movement opportunities such as: hula hoops, jump ropes, and sidewalk chalk.
