Fantasy Waltz Night at the historic Chapel of the Flowers in Berkeley, April 25 at 7 pm
Take your carriage (or Bart) to a magical, historical dance space located in Berkeley for a night of waltzes presented by a live chamber orchestra.
The evening begins at 7:00 with a short beginning waltz lesson presented by dance master Colin Williams, followed by the orchestra picking up their bows to present a selection of danceable waltzes. From the Viennese waltzes of Johan Strauss II, to the magical sounds of Disney, to the rollicking waltzes of the frontier, members of the Renegade Orchestra will get your feet moving in 3/4 time.
Come in your ball gowns, fantasy attire or in casual garb, beginners and seasoned dancers are all welcome. The floor is wood, the space is magical and the music is of course, not too loud. Complimentary coffee and cookies will be available.
