Chile, Mole, Pozole will be an afternoon of storytelling through food with local families taking center stage and sharing their cherished familial recipes and narratives with the community.

Join the 2nd annual celebration of Mexican Independence Day on September 15, 2019, from 11 am to 4 pm. Families will prepare unique family recipe salsas using locally sourced vegetables. Attendees will sample this delicious food and also hear the stories behind their creation.

Chile, Mole, Pozole is brought to you by Giant Creative Services, Kooltura Marketing, and the School of Arts and Culture. These partners want to give East San Jose families a showcase for storytelling through the sharing of homemade salsa recipes.
