Film Synopsis:

Chinatown Rising is a documentary that depicts the Asian American Movement through the eyes of young residents who were at the forefront of their community during its transformation. By challenging the traditional views of their elders, they took part in public protests and demonstrations between the 1960s and 1980s, which disrupted the previously peaceful streets during a time when the community was experiencing a shift in power. The film features personal interviews with these activists after 45 years, where they reflect on their experiences and contributions towards the cause of social change.

Chinatown Rising 《
