Finding Your Wings, a one-night free art exhibition in support of The Imagine Bus Project (TIBP), features artwork by 70 international artists. All work is inspired by the theme of wings.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
Artists include Dave Eggers, Hung Lui, Bill Owens, Alejandro Quincoces, Adrian Segura, J.Otto Seibold, and Kerry Skarbakka. Rising 26-year-old artist Zio Ziegler, who has painted more than 40 murals around the Bay Area since 2010, will be creating a live painting during the event.
The widely diverse collection of paintings, photographs, writings, sculptures, and jewelry, ranging in price from $5 to $20,000, is all available for sale. This 1st annual event supports the work of The Imagine Bus Project. TIBP provides arts education to incarcerated youth in the Bay Area.
Live music by Holly Monez. Infamous winner of The Amazing Race and co-owner of West of Pecos Restaurant, Tyler MacNiven, is master of ceremonies. Food generously provided by Kitchentown, Pizzeria Delifna, Emily Joubert, Angelina’s Deli, Bucks of Woodside, Angel Heart Cakes, The Good Life, Woodside Bakery, and Mochica.
