Event Details

If you’re sick of hearing “Follow your passion” and want more realistic talk about how to make a good living, this session is for you. Prominent career counselor at KALW-FM host Marty Nemko will lay it all out for you. Plus, he’ll take a few volunteers for one-on-one Workovers, which provide practical, in context lessons for everyone can learn from.

Guest Presenter: Marty Nemko was called “The Bay Area’s Best Career Coach” by the San Francisco Bay Guardian and “Career counselor extraordinaire” by U.S. News. The author of seven books including How to Do Life: What They Didn’t Teach You in School and 3,000(!) well-published articles, he is a regular contributor to Time.com and to PsychologyToday.com. He is in his 26th year hosting Work with Marty Nemko on KALW 91.7 FM. All that’s atop his full-time career counseling practice in Oakland. Marty’s website is www.martynemko.com.
