First Friday Concert Series | Oakland

Every First Friday after Art Murmur in Oakland, The Uptown holds a free concert featuring local musicians and beyond covering indie rock, electronica, hip hop and everything in between.

There is no cover, doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 9 pm.

The Uptown Nightclub is closed as of November 6, 2014.

• The Once and Future Band play “space adventure music” and are comprised of members Joel Robinow (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Raj Ojha (drums, percussion) and Eli Eckert (bass, guitar, vocals).
• B Hamilton (amplifiers and drums)
• Saything (harmonizing guitar rock)
• Ash Reiter – Bay Area’s indie darling brings you pop tunes that bring to mind a modern Fleetwood Mac rift with soaring vocal harmonies and catchy guitar lines.
