First Friday Concert Series | Oakland

Every First Friday after Art Murmur in Oakland, The Uptown holds a free concert featuring local musicians and beyond covering indie rock, electronica, hip hop and everything in between.

There is no cover, doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 9 pm.

The Uptown Nightclub is closed as of November 6, 2014.

Jeffrey James Logan, better known by his stage name Jel, is an American alternative hip hop producer and rapper. He is co-founder of the indie hip hop record label Anticon.
